Phil Ivey Keeps His Bracelets So Fresh And So Clean

Unlike Hellmuth, Ivey keeps all of his bracelets

With the 2014 World Series of Poker over a third of the way finished, if Phil Ivey plans on adding any more bracelets to his jewelry cleaning bill he’d better spend less time shining his past achievements and more time dusting others on the felt.

With over 25 events either in the books or underway, Ivey – who is partnered with Daniel Negreanu in a rumored $300K 1:1 bracelet bet – has just a single cash in Event #12 for just over $5K.

Still, this is a pretty cool photo and even though there’s two of Ivey’s nine gold bracelets missing from this photo, it sure looks like there’s room for #10. If and when Ivey books that bracelet it would make him only the 4th person in WSOP history to be the owner of bracelets in the double digits – right behind Hellmuth, Chan and Brunson.
