Kara Scott Looks Back on March With 888’s The Poker Brief

Kara Scott brings us The Poker Brief, sponsored by 888poker, to remind us of what happened in the world of poker during March.

Headlining The Poker Brief is the story about World Water Day that saw 888 partner with charity One Drop to bring players the ever first online tournament between the pair where all proceeds went to the One Drop Foundation.

Kara reminds us that the Super High Roller Bowl went to China for the first time in March which saw Justin Bonomo take the title along with $4.8 million in prize money!

We then get a recap on the Solve for Why charity event run by Matt Berky with the help of Jason Somerville before we get taken to Bucharest in Romania for a reminder of how the 888poker LIVE tournament played out.

Kara also talks about Gus Hansen’s return to Poker After Dark, after keeping a low profile for the past few years.

Kara goes on to talk about how 888poker and The World Poker Tour partnered to bring the WPT500 to the Aspers Casino in the UK in March.

The new stop was spread over three locations in the UK, with starting days in London, Newcastle and Milton Keynes to give more players the opportunity to enter the $565 buy-in event. There was also a Day 1 event that played out online on 888poker.com. Day 2 and the final day of the $1 million guaranteed event played out in London.

For Kara’s own take on it all, watch the video below.
