Online poker player and coach at LeggoPoker (now IveyPoker), Aaron “aejones” Jones scored $5 Million for winning the DraftKings Fantasy Football World Championship.
It was a close contest heading into the the 4th quarter, but Jones was the only contestant in the top three to have Pittsburgh’s Martavis Bryant on his roster, and with the star wide receiver’s catches late in the game, Jones was able to pull ahead of the competition.
The final tally of the two-round competition saw Jones amass 352.96 points, outscoring second place finisher dany1234 by just over 14 points.
*Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson has announced his retirement from poker so that he can spend more time with his wife, who is in failing health.
Brunson has amassed 10 WSOP bracelets, a WPT title along with being a fixture in the high-stakes cash games run in the famous “Bobby’s Room” over the decades.
Talking to Poker Central ahead of his last WSOP foray Brunson said: “I’m planning on retiring after the summer. My wife is not in very good health, and I will stay with her for the duration of either her life or mine.”
