The BIG 50, the lowest buy-in gold bracelet event to ever be offered in WSOP history is well on course to break the record for the biggest turnout in a WSOP bracelet event.
Carrying a buy-in of just $50 ($46+$), it is the cheapest bracelet event on the GGPoker’s WSOP online bracelet series schedule. It features an ambitious guarantee of $1 million.
There are 15 Day 1 flights scheduled, a majority of which have concluded and 5 more remains. But considering the turnout it received during its first 10 Day 1 flights, there are expectations that the tournament could attract over 40,000 entries.
This will be enough to break WSOP’s own record for the biggest turnout set earlier during the series. The $100 buy-in Opener event attracted nearly 30,000 entries to comfortably exceed its $2 million guarantee, generating a final prize pool of almost $2.7 million.
Schedule for the remaining BIG 50:
Flight K – Aug 21, 18:00 GMT
Flight L – Aug 22, 12:00 GMT
Flight M – Aug 22, 18:00 GMT
Flight N – Aug 23, 10:00 GMT
Flight O – Aug 23, 12:00 GMT
Final Day resumes on August 23 at 18:30 GMT.
The winner not only takes the first-place cash prize, a gold bracelet but also receives a $15,000 Package to WSOP Europe.
