Don’t Miss Out on the WPT Global $1,000,000 Main Event This Week

There are still quite a few starting flights to help you secure your seat in Day 2 of the WPT Global Summer Festival Main Event taking place on August 21.

The WPT Global Summer Festival is coming to its culmination with the $1,000,000 guaranteed Main Event. There are still quite a few opportunities to jump into one of the Day 1 flights and secure your seat for Day 2, set to take place on August 21.

The top 20% of the field from each starting flight moves on to Day 2, which will play down to the last eight players. The final table will be formed at that point, and the players will return on August 22 to play down to the winner.

The Main Event buy-in is $330, so it may not be suited for everyone’s bankroll, but the good news is that many satellites are running around the clock, giving you a chance to win your seat at a significant discount.

You can also take advantage of the enhanced WPT Global Deposit Bonus, offering free tickets to the $1 for $1 Million, Mini Main, and Main Event on top of the operator’s generous welcome bonus of 100% match on your first deposit, up to $1200. “Click here to get started.” :/go/wptglobal-poker/

PokerStars EPT Barcelona Main Breaks All Attendance Records

For the first time ever, the EPT Main Event surpassed 2000 entries, and by the time the registration was done, the total climbed to an impressive 2294.

The 2022 EPT Barcelona Main Event will enter history as the largest-ever EPT Main Event organized by PokerStars. The organizers were stunned by the total number of entries at the start of Day 2, as the tournament clock showed 2294.

This is an important landmark for PokerStars as no other EPT Main Event reached the magical 2000 number. The tournament came close to breaking that barrier in 2019, also in Barcelona, but it fell just short, with a total of 1988 entries.

Of course, with such a big field comes a massive prize pool. The 2022 EPT Barcelona Main Event will award just shy of €11.5 million, and the winner will become €1.7 million richer.

This year’s Barcelona event went from strength to strength, with all sorts of records broken during the festival, and this trend is expected to continue with upcoming High Roller and Women’s events kicking off this Friday.
