PokerStars Ontario Traffic Going from Strength to Strength

PokerStars Ontario has reached a new peak in terms of cash game traffic recently, proving once again the great potential of the recently regulated market in the province.

Despite heavy competition in the Canadian province, PokerStars Ontario cash game traffic has been going strong. Even the recent launch of WSOP Ontario did not have an adverse effect on the operator’s numbers.

In fact, earlier this month, PokerStars Ontario posted its best numbers since the launch in late June, with an average of 243 cash game seats filled at any given time. While WSOP Ontario, powered by GGPoker, cornered a significant portion of the market, PokerStars saw a traffic growth of 12.5%.

Overall, the newly formed market in Ontario has been thriving in terms of cash game numbers. The arrival of WSOP does not seem to be a hindrance for other operators in the province. Both PokerStars and BetMGM saw a spike in traffic, while the overall number of concurrent players more than doubled.

To sum it up, players looking for real money action in Ontario will find plenty of it at PokerStars Ontario tables across all stakes!
