The 2023 UKIPT Edinburgh Main Event by PokerStars Gets Underway

PokerStars has gathered players of all shapes and sizes in Edinburgh for yet another exciting UKIPT Main Event.

PokerStars is currently in Edinburgh for the penultimate stop on this year’s United Kingdom and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT). Today marked the start of the £1100 Main Event, but the action has been going strong in the Scottish capital for a couple of days already.

Not surprisingly, many familiar faces turned up to play, and the player list includes the likes of PokerStars ambassador Fintan Hand and former EPT winner Rupert Elder. There are also those who managed to qualify for their seat online via the new Power Path promo.

It is still early days in the UKIPT Edinburgh Main Event, but things are shaping up nicely for another memorable tournament. The second Day 1A is scheduled to take place tomorrow, while the event will find its champion on Sunday.

In addition to the Main Event, players can still look forward to the £2200 High Roller taking place tomorrow and the £330 UKIPT Cup running October 28 — 29.

The final stop of the UKIPT will play out in Nottingham from November 5 — 13, and there is plenty of time to try and win your seat over at PokerStars via direct satellites or climbing your way through Power Path tournaments to get your ticket!
