Inspirational Female Poker Players to Battle for PokerStars Platinum Pass at EPT Barcelona

The ladies will play a winner-takes-all sit and go, and the last woman standing will win the 2023 PSPC Platinum Pass.

Back in 2020, PokerStars celebrated International Women’s Day in style, inviting the public to cast their votes for the women who most inspired them or contributed to the poker community. Votes came in from left and right, and the panel of judges had the difficult task of choosing nine winners.

Eventually, they made their picks, and these nine winners were awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to a major PokerStars live event, where they would have an opportunity to play for a coveted $30,000 Platinum Pass to the 2023 PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC).

Due to unexpected developments and live poker pretty much coming to a halt due to COVID, things were delayed, but now, the time is finally here. Eight of the nine finalists will get to play a special sit-and-go on August 15, where the winner will be awarded a 2023 PSPC Platinum Pass.

Unfortunately, one of the finalists could not attend and will receive a Road to PSPC package instead.

The tournament will take place during this year’s EPT Barcelona, and it will be streamed live across PokerStars media channels with commentary from Jennifer Shahade and Maria Ho. The winner will receive a Platinum Pass for the 2023 PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC).
