CNP Winamax Grand Final in Madrid Aims for 3,000 Main Event Entries

A 126-table setup, split Day 2 and early-registration options are planned for the Nov. 12-23 season finale.

Key points
  1. The €550 CNP Winamax Main Event begins Nov. 18 and organizers aim to exceed 3,000 entries.
  2. More than 1,200 tickets have been distributed through Laroush promotions, with Winamax satellites still running.
  3. Casino Gran Madrid Torrelodones is preparing 126 tables across three areas, including 35 additional tables from Nov. 19.
  4. Day 2 is split into afternoon and evening sessions on Nov. 21 before the tournament concludes Nov. 23.

The CNP Winamax Grand Final will return to Casino Gran Madrid Torrelodones from Nov. 12-23, with organizers aiming to push the €550 Main Event beyond 3,000 entries for the first time. The target would top the record 2,684 entries set by the same event in 2025.

The Madrid stop closes the five-destination 2026 CNP Winamax season, which also visited Sevilla, Barcelona, Murcia and Alicante. More than 1,200 Grand Final tickets have already been distributed through Laroush live-event promotions, while Winamax online satellites are continuing to qualify players.

The 2025 Main Event generated a €1.2 million prize pool, with David Nus winning €134,060. Twenty-one players returned for Day 4. That attendance record followed a fast start: Day 1B alone drew 662 entries, taking the field to 1,059 after two days.

The venue is preparing 126 poker tables across three areas to accommodate the projected Main Event field and a full slate of side tournaments. The French Room, or Sala Francesa, will be the main tournament area with 76 tables, while the Poker Room will contain the televised feature table.

Mandalay Gardens will add 35 tables from Nov. 19, principally for side events and to ease pressure on the main rooms. The casino will also provide a Player Lounge in Sala Mandalay on the first floor.

Advance registration is intended to cut queues, congestion and waiting times, according to the Circuito Nacional de Poker. Players will be able to buy entries before the day of a tournament rather than waiting until it is due to start.

The €550 Main Event begins Nov. 18 with six starting flights and a 50,000-chip stack. A €300 low-cost flight follows on Nov. 19 and gives players 25,000 chips.

Organizers will split Day 2 into two sessions on Nov. 21 because of the anticipated turnout. Day 2A starts at noon for survivors from Flights 1A, 1B and 1D, while Day 2B begins at 5 p.m. for Flights 1C, 1E and 1F; late registration remains open through the end of Level 13 in both sessions.

The field then combines for Day 3 on Nov. 22, with the champion due to be decided Nov. 23. The festival opens with a tournament on Nov. 12 and includes High Roller, 6 Max, Omaha, Dos Vidas, Mystery Bounty, El Cazador, Mini CNP and Crazy Pineapple events. The €1,100 High Roller starts Nov. 16 with 80,000 starting chips.
