WPT Bestbet Scramble Championship Returns to Jacksonville on Sept. 4
The $5,000 event carries a $1 million guarantee and ends with a livestreamed final table on Sept. 9
bestbet Jacksonville is set to host the $5,000 WPT bestbet Scramble Championship from Sept. 4-9, with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. The No-Limit Hold’em event will finish with a livestreamed final table on Sept. 9.
WPT’s festival coverage says the surrounding schedule began Aug. 20 and runs through Sept. 9. The same coverage says the festival mixes different formats and buy-in levels. PokerNews also said players can satellite into the WPT World Championship, a season-ending Las Vegas series in December.
PokerNews described the WPT bestbet Scramble as an annual destination event, and said the tournament’s history is reflected on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup trophy displayed at bestbet.
Connor Rash is the defending champion after winning $315,530 and outlasting 327 entrants in 2025. Nick Yunis won the event in 2024 and earned $310,079, while earlier winners listed in related coverage include Frederic Normand, Tyler Paterson, Jared Jaffee and Noah Schwartz.
The festival is not limited to the main championship. Other events on the schedule include a $1,700 No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty, a $300,000 guaranteed tournament starting Aug. 27, and a 32-player $800 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em event on Sept. 2. Tournament action will play down to six on Sept. 8 before the final table returns for the livestream the next day.
