Clubs Poker Opens Omaha National Championship With 90 Events and 10,000 SC in Leaderboard Prizes
The 15-day Omaha-only series pairs six daily tournaments with merch rewards, a 5,000 SC Main Event guarantee and a broad buy-in spread.
Clubs Poker opened its Omaha National Championship on Sunday, Sept. 13, kicking off a 15-day, Omaha-only series with 90 events, six daily tournaments and 10,000 SC in added leaderboard prizes. The festival also comes with tournament guarantees worth tens of thousands of SC, capped by a 5,000 SC guaranteed Main Event.
The new promotion followed the successful finish of Clubs Poker’s six-week No Fee Daily Mix series, which crowned six weekly champions.
The ONC schedule covers PLO, PLO5, PLO6, Big O and FLO8. Clubs Poker said the buy-in spread, from 5.50 SC to 88 SC, is meant to give players a daily option that fits their bankroll, and the lower-end events start at 5.5 SC and 11 SC with guarantees between 400 SC and 750 SC.
The series keeps six tournaments on the board every day and stays more or less steady across the festival. Some of the lower-end events could face overlay, based on turnout in the previous mixed-game series.
The Main Event sits at the top of the schedule as a single 88 SC tournament with a 5,000 SC guaranteed prize pool. It uses Omaha 4/5/6 format, alternating between three popular Omaha variants.
Clubs Poker is also adding limited merch rewards. Winning any ONC event earns an exclusive Champion Shirt, printed in limited numbers, while a player can claim the Champion Hoodie by winning three events during the series or by taking down the Main Event and another event.
The leaderboard side adds another 10,000 SC to the festival prize pool across three rankings. The Low and High leaderboards each pay 3,000 SC, while the Overall leaderboard pays 4,000 SC. Players qualify by finishing in the top 25 on Low or the top 15 on High and Overall, with top payouts of 450 SC, 600 SC and 800 SC respectively.
