CrorePlay Puts $2.5 Million Behind Festive Fortune PKO Series

The Oct. 12-Nov. 1 tournament schedule pairs knockout-value leaderboard points with special J-x and J-J multipliers.

CrorePlay will run its three-week Festive Fortune Series from Oct. 12 through Nov. 1, putting $2.5 million in guaranteed prizes behind a schedule of progressive knockout tournaments.

The series gives players in India a chance to earn cash for eliminating opponents, while also turning bounty performance into leaderboard points. CardPlayer reported that the leaderboard scoring is based on the value of a player’s knockouts. The promotion adds special multipliers for showdowns involving J-x and J-J.

Progressive knockouts put a bounty on each player, funded by part of the buy-in. In the standard format, the player making an elimination receives half the bounty immediately, while the other half is added to that player’s own bounty, according to GTO Wizard. That structure can make knockouts valuable alongside ordinary tournament-chip considerations.

Festive Fortune is one part of CrorePlay’s wider October campaign. The company has also scheduled Festive Hands Cash Games for the same Oct. 12-Nov. 1 period, with weekly rewards including Flip-Out Tickets, random prizes, a daily Festive Hour at 20:00 CET and a Daily Festive Draw; PokerStrategy reported that some mechanics and reward rules were still being finalized.

As covered in September, CrorePlay had previously added the $1.245 million Bonus Bonanza daily tournament promotion, whose payouts were bonus cash released through cash-game rake. Festive Fortune instead centers its announced rewards around knockout bounties, leaderboard scoring and the J-x and J-J multipliers.

CrorePlay’s October lineup also includes revised PLO Hand Quest and Rakeback Riches promotions, while its three-month Great Indian Poker Fest offers milestone prizes including InstaCash, a Super Meteor Bike, a Vegas trip and a Tata Sierra EV.
