ACR Poker’s OSS XL Enters Final Stretch After High-Roller Results
The $2,650 and $1,050 Main Events have their final Day 1B flights Sept. 27, while Second Mortgage Week runs through Sept. 28.
ACR Poker’s OSS XL moved into its final stretch, with several high rollers exceeding their guarantees, while the series’ three Main Events prepared for their next stages. The 336-event festival runs through Sept. 29 with more than $50 million guaranteed.
The $630 OSS XL #215 High Roller drew 1,204 entries and built a $722,400 prize pool, above its $600,000 guarantee. Slippy12 won $119,923 following a final-table deal, while runner-up a6amKa4ePB collected $114,033.
Another $630 event, OSS XL #213H, brought in 499 entries for a $299,400 prize pool against a $250,000 guarantee. G26 won $59,536 after a deal. Mini Phil’s Thrill #219 also cleared its guarantee, drawing 104 entries at $2,650 to create a $260,000 pool; Infliponcio won $58,500.
The Sunday results were not all over guarantee. ACR Poker covered overlays in the $215 OSS XL #216, the $16.50 Sunday Splash and the $27.50 Sunday Smash. The $2,650 Mini Phil’s Thrill PLO #220 met its $200,000 guarantee exactly.
As we reported last week, the $66, $1,050 and $2,650 Main Events together carry $5 million in guarantees. The $2,650 event, with a $2.5 million guarantee, recorded 468 entries in Day 1A, while the $1,050 Main Event’s opening flight drew 950 entries toward its $2 million guarantee.
Both higher-buy-in Main Events have final Day 1B flights on Sunday, Sept. 27, then play Day 2 on Sept. 28 and final tables on Sept. 29. The $66 Main Event returns for Day 2 on Sept. 27 with 493 players remaining; its $500,000 prize pool includes a $202,100 overlay.
There is also more than $60,000 in cash and tournament tickets left in the OSS XL Leaderboard Competition. GROOTHEDEGEN led the High division on Monday morning, with ITILTHARD atop Medium and MALEKSEY leading Low. Only in-the-money finishes in series events earn points.
Second Mortgage Week began Sept. 21 with 10 Nosebleed Stakes tournaments over five playing days. The schedule spans No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha, in 6-max and 8-max formats, with buy-ins from $5,200 to $25,500. Its largest buy-in is the $25,500 NLH 8-Max on Sept. 27, before the high-stakes run closes Sept. 28 with $15,400 NLH 8-Max and $5,200 NLH 6-Max R/A events.
