WPT Prime Lodge Sets Austin Return With $1 Million Guarantee
The Texas festival runs Sept. 24-Oct. 12 and closes with a $1,100 championship on livestream.
World Poker Tour has scheduled WPT Prime Lodge for Sept. 24-Oct. 12 at The Lodge Card Club in Austin, Texas. The centerpiece is the WPT Prime Lodge Championship, which runs Oct. 8-12 with a $1,100 buy-in, a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and livestream coverage from the club.
According to a WPT press release, the festival also includes satellites leading into the championship and a "Half Milly" event with a $400 buy-in and a $500,000 guarantee. The championship is positioned as another shot at a WPT Prime Trophy and a climb up the WPT Player of the Year leaderboard.
As reported in July 2025, WPT introduced the stop as its official Texas debut and listed a Sept. 28-Oct. 13 window with an Oct. 9-13 championship. The latest schedule moves those dates earlier, while keeping the same Austin venue and the same $1 million headline guarantee.
WPT also said the Austin stop is one of three festival stops it plans over the next several weeks, with action in Australia and the United States. In its announcement, Adam Pliska called The Lodge "a standout venue with an incredible community of passionate poker players" and said WPT was thrilled to bring its experience to the heart of Texas.
