Ketola Beats Malinowski for $6 Million in Triton Jeju

Ossi Ketola left the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju $6 million ahead after a four-match heads-up set with Wiktor Malinowski. Malinowski won the opener, and Ketola finished the night with the bigger score, according to CardPlayer.
SoMuchpoker described Duel Heads Up as a co-branded side series at Triton, not an official tournament with a Triton event number or title. The matches were played at Les A Casino in Jeju, South Korea, and Ketola’s Duel casino also sponsored the Triton live stream.
The first freezeout began at $1 million each with $5,000/$10,000 blinds. Malinowski tabled pocket kings against Ketola’s 9♥6♣, and Ketola later said he knew it would be “an expensive slow roll” and that he did it “for the clip farm.” The runout paired the board on the river, giving Malinowski a full house and the first win.
The spectacle briefly went beyond the cards. During the opener, an Andrew Tate impersonator appeared at the table, danced, kissed Malinowski on the cheek, and sang, and the archived Triton YouTube version later removed the sequence. The commentary crew also laughed along as the bit played out.
After that, the stakes doubled to $2 million a side. Ketola then won Match 2 with kings against A♣Q♦, won Match 3 when his Q♥9♥ hit a 9♠ turn against A♣Q♣, and after two matches was up $1 million. In the fourth match, Ketola held A♦8♦ against Malinowski’s A♣5♠ on a board of A♠Q♠10♥8♥3♦, and Malinowski called Ketola’s river raise.
The showdown also fit Ketola’s broader high-stakes identity. The outlet described him as a Finnish entrepreneur and Duel founder who is not a tournament grinder, but someone who plays enormous live-streamed heads-up matches and increases the price after setbacks. It also said his 2025 Jeju run, across opponents including Malinowski, Alex Foxen, Elias Talvitie, Kayhan Mokri and Bjorn Li, set the benchmark for the format.
