WSOP has named Lucas Jumalon, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Michael Mizrachi and Chris Moneymaker among the players set for WSOP Paradise 2026, bringing five prominent players to the Bahamas series.
The festival is the finale of the 2026 WSOP calendar and will be played at Baha Mar, the series’ new home on Cable Beach in Nassau. The venue change moves the event from Atlantis Paradise Island, where earlier editions were held.
As we reported in August, Paradise will carry 20 bracelet events and $120 million in total guarantees, led by a $26,000 no-limit hold’em Super Main Event with a $50 million guarantee. The current Baha Mar listing places the festival from Dec. 2 through Dec. 17.
Jumalon arrives as the new WSOP Main Event champion. The 22-year-old won the 2026 title for $10 million, becoming one of the youngest players ever to claim the title. He also finished 14th in September’s record-setting WSOP Circuit Main Event at Texas Card House–Austin, earning $22,430, and serves as a WSOP Academy ambassador.
Negreanu, the all-time WSOP money leader, has eight bracelets after winning the $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller during the 2026 WSOP. That victory paid about $2.3 million.
Hellmuth has separately announced that he will play in Paradise. His 17 WSOP bracelets remain the series record; his most recent bracelet came in 2023. Hellmuth also became the first player to win both the WSOP Main Event and WSOP Europe Main Event when he completed that double in 2012.
Mizrachi will be returning after another significant WSOP campaign. He won the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship for his ninth bracelet in 2026, a year after winning both his fourth Poker Players Championship and the WSOP Main Event within weeks. Those 2025 results were followed immediately by his induction into the Poker Hall of Fame.
Moneymaker’s place in the announced group reaches back to the 2003 Main Event, which he won after qualifying through an $86 online satellite for a $10,000 seat. WSOP credits that victory with sparking the “Moneymaker Effect,” also known as the Poker Boom, as interest and WSOP attendance climbed worldwide. He is now a Poker Hall of Fame inductee.
Paradise is the fourth edition of the series, which began in 2023 with 15 bracelet events and $50 million in guarantees. The 2025 Super Main Event attracted 2,891 entries and produced a $72.3 million prize pool, surpassing its $60 million guarantee.
The Paradise stop is also the final chance to earn points in the updated WSOP Player of the Year race, whose winner receives $1 million. An April announcement listed slightly different Dec. 1-18 dates, but Baha Mar’s current event page lists Dec. 2-17.
