Raphael Caixeta Wins the First WSOP Online Bracelet

The Brazilian took the $700 Kick-Off event as GGPoker's 2026 online series got rolling, with 3,607 entries and a $2.4 million prize pool.

Brazilian player Raphael Caixeta won the first gold bracelet of GGPoker’s 2026 WSOP Online by taking down the $700 7th Annual WSOP Kick-Off bounty event. The reported payout was $207,167 plus a $30,000 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event package, although the same PokerNews write-up also gave the cash prize as $206,167 in its final-result description.

As covered in our Aug. 6 preview, WSOP Online 2026 is running with 33 bracelet events from Aug. 16 through Sept. 29, and Caixeta has now put the opening title on the board. Somuchpoker’s schedule report also noted that the series’ $5,000 Main Event carries a $25 million guarantee.

The Kick-Off drew 3,607 entries and built a $2,398,655 prize pool. By the time players reached the bounty stage, 356 had already locked up at least a min-cash.

Caixeta finished heads-up against Khaw “Apacgg” Chin Wah, who took $160,310 for second. Argentina’s “Lichu89” was third for $104,258, Oleksii “ITakeIt” Trofymenko was fourth for $87,761, “baidan823” was fifth for $74,732, Eui “Rollpounder” Kim was sixth for $57,751, Miguel “Zerschlagen” Angelo Faria Lopes was seventh for $44,907, Milaim “PinkDevil9” Tafaj was eighth for $34,391, and China’s “fantexi0058” was ninth for $34,092.

Later on Aug. 17, the $300 Gladiators of Poker was set to resume at 7 p.m. BST, with Silvio Costa leading on 1,292,168 chips after 1,307 players advanced to Day 2 from 13,214 entries.
