Andrew Ostapchenko Wins WSOP Circuit High Roller in Las Vegas

Andrew Ostapchenko won Event #10, the $2,200 NLH High Roller, at the WSOP Circuit stop at Horseshoe in Las Vegas. He beat David Peters heads-up and took $115,890, while also collecting his second WSOPC ring.
According to Spade Poker, the event drew 260 entries and generated a $520,000 prize pool. The top 39 finishers got paid.
Peters finished second for $77,244 after recently winning his fifth gold bracelet in the $10K 6-Handed Championship. The result kept him from adding another major title at the festival.
Troy Mclean took third for $53,608, and Mingxi Zhu was fourth for $37,987. Christopher Hunichen ran fifth for $27,496.
Gerardo Rodriguez placed sixth for $20,339, Bin Duan was seventh for $15,383, Jason Wheeler finished eighth for $11,902, and Joao Simao took ninth for $9,425. Hunichen, Wheeler and Simao all reached the final table.
The report framed the win as part of the post-WSOP move into circuit events at Horseshoe while players waited for the Main Event final table. It also said this was Ostapchenko’s highest score of the current festival.
