Boris Kolev Leads 17 Into Onyx Mystery Bounty Day 2
The $10,400 event cleared its $1 million guarantee after Armin Rezaei burst the money bubble.
Boris Kolev emerged with the biggest stack after Day 1 of the $10,400 Mystery Bounty at the Onyx High Roller Series, where 114 entries pushed the prize pool past the $1 million guarantee and left 17 players moving on in the money.
The tournament is part of the 2026 Onyx High Roller Series at Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa, which runs from Aug. 7 to 16. The Mystery Bounty is a two-day event with a 100,000-chip starting stack, and opening level was 200/500 with a 500 big blind ante. Late registration closed at the end of Level 12 at about 10:45 p.m. local time, and once the field reached the money, the mystery bounties came into play.
Armin Rezaei delivered the bubble hand. He fired on all three streets against Orhan Ates and put him all in on the river, and Ates could not continue after pairing his queen.
Rezaei’s knockout locked up payouts for the remaining players and sent them into the bounty phase. Day 1 ended after Level 16 with 17 players bagging for Day 2.
Kolev of Bulgaria finished with 1,700,000 chips, which was good for 57 big blinds when play resumes. Show77 was second with 1,145,000, Fahredin Mustafov of Bulgaria bagged 1,115,000, Rezaei ended on 935,000, and Aram Sargsyan closed the top five with 805,000.
The 17 survivors return at 1 p.m. local time Tuesday, when play restarts at Level 17 with blinds of 15,000/30,000 and a 30,000 big blind ante.
