CoinPoker’s Next $1 Million CoinMillion Runs Sept. 20
The $215 Sunday event follows a record 5,321-entry field and offers satellite routes from $12.50.
CoinPoker’s next $215 CoinMillion is set for Sunday, Sept. 20, at 16:30 UTC, carrying another $1 million guaranteed prize pool. The tournament is one of the site’s Sunday CoinMillion GOPC Editions and awards a Global Online Poker Championship Gold Medal.
The Sept. 20 event follows a new participation high for the tournament. The Sept. 13 CoinMillion drew 5,321 entries, making it the biggest field since the event launched in May and more than 1,000 entries larger than its inaugural edition.
PokerStrategy reported that direct satellites for the upcoming tournament are already available in the CoinPoker lobby, with routes starting at $12.50. Players can also use Step 4 freerolls, and searching “CoinMillion” in the lobby brings up the available qualifiers. Direct satellites give players an alternative to paying the full $215 direct buy-in.
CoinPoker’s GOPC page lists CoinMillion editions on each Sunday in September: Sept. 6, 13, 20 and 27. Each carries the same $1 million guarantee and Gold Medal designation.
The wider GOPC began Aug. 23 and runs through Sept. 28 with $50 million guaranteed across the series. CoinPoker says the schedule includes more than 700 Medal Events and that prize pools are tracking above the original guarantee.
The final September CoinMillion is scheduled for Sept. 27.
