PokerStars’ Spin & Go Max Turns $25 Into $500,000 for UK Player
A six-handed game hit the 26,000x top multiplier, creating a $650,000 prize pool with no cashout option.
A UK player using the screen name “visiontechno” turned a $25 buy-in into a $500,000 first prize in a PokerStars Spin & Go Max on Sept. 12. The six-handed game drew a 26,000x multiplier, described as the highest available at that buy-in for a six-player table.
The jackpot paid out $650,000 in total. Second place received $60,000, followed by $40,000 for third, $25,000 for fourth, $16,250 for fifth and $8,750 for sixth. There was no cashout option attached to the game.
Pokerfuse reported that PokerStars’ published payout table put the chance of the 26,000x multiplier at one in 1 million for a $25 Spin & Go Max. The format can run with three to eight players, although all six seats were filled in this jackpot game.
The result added a six-figure Spin & Go Max prize to an unusually busy stretch for PokerStars lottery sit & gos. As covered in August, the site awarded three $1.2 million jackpots in its $5 three-handed Spin & Go between July 17 and Aug. 12, each after a 240,000x multiplier landed.
Those three $5 winners were Denmark’s dillerfar19 on July 17, Argentina’s Anatsuk334 on July 26 and UK player Gwaugh1 on Aug. 12. Each took $1 million from a $1.2 million pool. Pokerfuse put the published odds for that $5 multiplier at one in 10 million and said the three hits matched PokerStars’ combined total of $1.2 million Spin & Go jackpots across 2024 and 2025.
The $1.2 million prize was a promotional top end at the $5 level rather than the regular structure’s standard maximum. PokerStars subsequently removed the 240,000x multiplier from that buy-in, leaving $50,000 as the stated maximum prize there, while million-dollar jackpots remained available from $100 buy-ins upward.
