A bit of an inspirational story wrapped by the hands of a blind card mechanic, also known as a card cheat. This is Richard Turner, cheating at cards since he was 7 and lost his vision at the age of 9.
He dedicated his life to the manipulation of cards, 10-20 hours a day, 7 days a week by his own estimation. Through his loss of sight he developed a heightened sensitivity to touch, which he channelled into a knack for card manipulation.
