Jason Somerville – From Creative Training To Mass Entertaining

Somerville carving a niche out for himself in poker popularity.

One of Ultimate Poker's biggest assets right now isn’t it’s software or customer service, it’s their team of pros who are bringing awareness to their brand of legalized online poker in the states of Nevada and New Jersey. And while Antonio Esfandiari may be the biggest name on their roster, it’s bracelet winner Jason Somerville that the hardcore grinders are drawn to.

Through is weekly internet show, #RunItUp, Somerville brings a new form of poker training to the masses: one that educates as well as entertains. Somerville started the program as a way to create value for his new position as Team U pro, but it’s grown farther and faster than he could have expected creating a legion of #RunItUp Warriors who watch, grind and learn from their leader who is looking to show them that it’s possible to turn a $50 deposit into $10K on Ultimate Poker.

Jason is seemingly everywhere this summer as well. He’s co-hosting the PokerNews podcast, providing his own online content, doing interviews for Bluff and grinding a ton of tournaments (cashing in two WSOP events so far).

He’s also on the cover of Bluff Magazine for his longform interview detailing his early years in poker, right through to his present position as one of poker’s most agreeable up-and-coming ambassadors.
