Six-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton was spotted over on GGPoker as part of their High Rollers Week tournament series.
Hamilton jumped into Event 7 of the High Rollers Week which came with a $10,300 buy-in. $1.25 million was guaranteed, but according to PokerNews, Hamilton busted out in 113th place out of 130 players. Partypoker’s Ike Haxton was also sat at the same table.
Hamilton even had his own GGPoker avatar—could this mean that an ambassadorship is coming soon?
He wouldn’t be the first sports star to sign with the online poker site, as former tennis world number 1 Boris Becker has been affiliated with the site since April, 2020.
Football legend Neymar Jr was also spotted on the GGPoker tables back during the GG WSOP 2020 although no formal partnership followed.
