PokerStars Announces $25 Million Guaranteed Summer Series
PokerStars has wasted no time in announcing another online tournament series, starting this Sunday, June 7.
While not on the same stature as the recently concluded SCOOP series, the Summer Series guarantees an impressive $25 million spread across 151 tournaments.
The two-week-long series culminates in two Main Events on June 21.
The highlights of the Summer Series includes:
- Sunday Million Progressive Knockout (PKO) Edition on June 7 boasting $1.5 million in guarantees
- Two PKO edition Main Events on June 21 with combined guarantees of $3 million
- $11 buy-in Sunday Storm PKO edition with $300k guarantee on June 14

Summer Series will be the operator’s sixth major online tournament series this year. It ran Bounty Builder Series in February, High Roller Series in March that got extended until April, Turbo Series and MicroMillions: in April, SCOOP in May.
