Michigan online poker players who flocked to try out the newly launched poker room at BetMGM MI enjoyed a great value as a majority of the tournaments on the opening day fell way short of their guarantees.

The Daily $10K guaranteed NLH Turbo event costing $109 to enter attracted 63 entries causing an overlay of $3700.

Smaller events also fell short with a few failing to meet even 50% of the guarantee.

The Daily $1K NLH with a buy-in of $10 could only collect $432 in buy-ins, not even covering 45% of its advertised guarantee.

Considering that the site is in a nascent stage, expect these overlays to continue throughout the week.

Look out for the Sunday Major tournament scheduled to run on March 28. This one guarantees a nice juicy $40,000 for a buy-in of $215.
