OMG! Galfond Goes 4 for 4 in HU Challenges

The PLO Phenom claims another scalp, with Jungleman waiting in the wings.

Phil Galfond has bested another opponent in his ongoing series of heads-up challenges. He dispatched Brandon Adams with consummate ease, forcing the challenger to retire after less than a third of the scheduled hands had been played.

Galfond notified his followers on Monday evening, that Adams had withdrawn from the challenge.

Phil pockets $270,00 from the challenge itself, plus a cool $100,000 side bet. His only problem now may be finding someone willing to take him on.

Previously touted adversaries include Rob Yong, Luke Schwartz, and Fernando “JNandez” Habegger, though none of these match ups has yet come to fruition (discretion is the better part of valor boys!)

The most likely next opponent would seem to be Daniel “Jungleman” Cates.—Adams himself posting this NSFW rant from Jungleman. Let’s just hope he puts his money where his potty-mouth is.
