DraftKings Rules Connecticut Online Casino Market
Connecticut has only just recently opened to online casinos, but early data shows DraftKings with a distinct lead in the market.
Connecticut is one of the most recent states to jump into the regulated online casino market in the United States, after coming online in October of 2021. While there is only one full month of data available for the market, the early numbers show DraftKings Casino sitting pretty on top.
There isn’t even two months’ worth of data out of CT yet, with the market opening in October of last year. That means there were 20 days of data from October before the market ran for its first full month in November.
DraftKings Casino got off to a decent start in the shortened October reporting period with a small lead of 54% of the market. The operator didn’t slow down heading into November though, increasing its market share to more than 57% with a month of almost $8 million in adjusted gross revenue.
It’s still early days in the CT online casino market with barely a month of data in the books at this point, but DraftKings has definitely been the best out of the starting blocks. It remains to be seen if DK Casino can hold onto its lead, but a solid start has given it a solid lead to start the race.
