BetMGM Poker Ontario Launches — its First Site Outside the US
After its day-and-a-half monopoly, 888poker gets its first competitor as BetMGM goes live offering Canadian players a second option for online poker in Ontario.
For the first time ever, BetMGM is offering its online poker product to players in Ontario, Canada — its very first venture into the international gaming space.
BetMGM launched its poker room in the new legal and regulated market of Ontario on April 5, 2022 — the second day of the market’s opening.
The eagled-eyed detectives over at pokerfuse have noticed three types of tournaments in the BetMGM Poker Ontario lobby.
The first two tournaments will be played in the extremely popular No-Limit Hold’em PKO format.
The Daily C-Note Tournament features a CA$109 buy-in and will be played every day.
High Roller Tournaments that feature a CA$530 buy-in will be held every Tuesday and Thursday. These tournaments kick off at 7:05 p.m.
A Super Sunday Tournament schedule has also been revealed, with a variety of game formats and buy-ins ranging from CA$1.10 to CA$530.
