ACR Poker has released a documentary following Chance Kornuth’s run in the 2026 World Series of Poker $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller, including a Day 1 recovery from 1,000 chips to more than 900,000 at one point.

The film is available on ACR Poker’s YouTube channel and mixes footage of high-stakes hands with strategic analysis and a wider discussion about tournament structure. It also follows Kornuth’s two entries in WSOP Event #55.

One hand examined in the documentary centers on an aggressive bet, the holdings Kornuth believed an opponent could fold, and whether a smaller sizing might have produced a different result. The film also covers short-stack decisions during 40-minute Day 1 levels, with 60-minute levels on Day 2, as the event approached its 17 paid places.

Late registration is a major theme. Kornuth and other players discuss whether limiting late first entries while still allowing re-entry for players who registered earlier could better balance recreational players’ experience with the need to attract entries. PokerNews’ Day 1 coverage noted that registration remained open until the start of Day 2.

PokerNews reported that Kornuth ended Day 1 on 215,000 chips, after 81 players had entered and 30 remained. The finished tournament drew 110 entries for a $5.225 million prize pool, with Joao Simao beating Santhosh Suvarna heads-up for the $1.37 million first prize at Paris Las Vegas.

Kornuth, a four-time WSOP bracelet winner, won his first bracelet in a $5,000 PLO event in 2010 for $508,090. He also finished runner-up in a $50,000 WSOP No-Limit Hold’em High Roller in 2024, earning $1.35 million.

He joined the ACR Poker Pro team in May. As we reported in September, Kornuth then reached the final tables of both Dual Mystery Bounty Venom events, finishing sixth in PLO and seventh in No-Limit Hold’em for about $188,700 in combined prizes and bounties.

The documentary also points viewers to ACR Poker’s Discord community, where players can review hands and interact with ACR Pros including Chris Moneymaker and Alex Foxen.
