ACR Adds Nine $109 Satellites After Two WSOP Paradise Megas Overlay

The expanded schedule guarantees 70 weekly Mega entries, while seven Bahamas packages remain on offer Sunday.

Key points
  1. ACR Poker’s Oct. 11 and Oct. 18 Paradise Megas each awarded seven packages despite overlays exceeding $50,000.
  2. Fourteen weekly $109 Super Satellites now guarantee 70 entries to the $1,050 Sunday Mega.
  3. The Oct. 25 Mega has seven $30,000 packages guaranteed and at least 120 seats supplied through two feeder routes.
  4. World Poker Deals published a package and guarantee tally that conflicts with PokerStrategy’s account of the first two Megas.

ACR Poker has added nine $109 Super Satellites to its WSOP Paradise qualification schedule after its first two $1,050 Sunday Megas each generated more than $50,000 in overlay. Both the Oct. 11 and Oct. 18 tournaments still awarded their full seven $30,000 Bahamas packages.

The expansion takes the weekly $109 Super Satellite schedule from five events to 14. Each Super Satellite guarantees five $1,050 Mega entries, creating 70 guaranteed Sunday-Mega tickets each week through that route. A Super Satellite win awards entry to the Mega rather than a Paradise package directly.

The next $1,050 Mega is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. ET Sunday, Oct. 25, with another seven packages, worth $210,000 in total, guaranteed. The Oct. 18 $95 Beast feeder had already guaranteed 50 seats into that event, meaning the expanded $109 schedule and Beast route account for 120 guaranteed Mega seats for Oct. 25.

As we reported Oct. 18, ACR had scheduled the second Mega to again offer seven packages, matching the opening event. PokerStrategy reported that the Oct. 11 Mega drew 148 entries, while both of the first two Megas carried $210,000 in guaranteed package value regardless of turnout. Their combined overlay exceeded $100,000.

A separate World Poker Deals account gave a conflicting tally for those two events, saying they awarded 10 packages worth $30,000 each and had $210,000 in combined package value, including $100,000 of overlay. That differs from PokerStrategy’s report of seven packages awarded in each Mega and a $210,000 guarantee for each tournament.

Players can also buy directly into the $1,050 Mega or play the $95 Beast, which targets the following week’s Mega. The next Beast begins at 5:05 p.m. ET on Oct. 25 and feeds the Nov. 1 Mega, while the final Beast on Nov. 15 is set to guarantee 60 seats into the Nov. 22 event.

The $30,000 packages include a $26,000 seat in the $50 million-guaranteed WSOP Paradise Super Main Event and room-only accommodation at SLS Baha Mar. Winners remain responsible for travel, meals and personal expenses. The Super Main Event runs in The Bahamas from Dec. 10-17.
