Clubs Poker Adds No-Fee Daily Mix Tournaments
The mixed-game lineup rotates through weekdays and weekends, with leaderboard prizes and a Mixed Game Hall of Fame attached.
Clubs Poker added a No-Fee Daily Mix schedule for mixed-game players, with two mixed-game events each night at 8:15 p.m. ET and a different game mix assigned to each day. Pokerfuse reported that the weekday events came in 10 SC and 50 SC versions, both with 0% tournament fees and the full buy-in going into the prize pool.
The weekly rotation starts with Draw Mix, then moves to Omaha Mix on Tuesdays, Stud Mix on Wednesdays, TOE on Thursdays, Big Bet Mix on Fridays, 8-Game on Saturdays and HORSE on Sundays. The point of the schedule, according to the report, is to make sure players can find at least one new event in the week that fits their tastes.
The higher-buy-in side also gets a little extra. Pokerfuse said Clubs Poker is offering 10% more chips for early-bird registrations in the high buy-in events.
Early results suggested the format was getting traction fast. The first 10 SC event pulled 75 runners and generated 250 SC in added value, while the 50 SC event posted a $1,700 overlay.
Clubs Poker also tied the series to weekly and all-time mixed-game leaderboards, plus a Mixed Game Hall of Fame. The weekly leaderboard only counts points earned in that week’s No-Fee Daily Mix events, with 200 SC in No-Fee Mix Tickets and an exclusive chip protector for the winner, 100 SC in tickets for second place and 50 SC for third. The long-term boards track the most mixed-game wins and the most Player of the Week titles, but they do not pay direct prizes beyond the recognition itself, although Pokerfuse said they could still help players get staked for bigger mixed-game events or land sponsorships.
Clubs Poker’s general tournament rules say a standard tournament entry includes a fixed buy-in plus an entry fee, and only the buy-in goes to the prize pool. In a June review, Pokerfuse described Clubs Poker as the only sweepstakes poker site offering mixed games, operating under promotional sweepstakes law with a no-purchase-necessary route to Sweeps Coins that can be redeemed for real cash prizes or gift cards. Gold Coins are used for standard play and have no cash value.
