RunGood Brings Gateway Poker Classic Back to St. Louis
The festival runs Aug. 4-9 at Hollywood St. Louis and is led by an $800 Main Event with a $200,000 guarantee.
RunGood Poker Series is bringing its Gateway Poker Classic to Hollywood St. Louis in Missouri from Aug. 4-9, with the festival anchored by an $800 Main Event that carries a $200,000 guarantee.
PokerNews reported that the series is moving into St. Louis after wrapping up its Passport Season stop at Thunder Valley Casino in California. The Main Event will have four starting flights and play down to a winner on Aug. 9.
The opening day on Aug. 4 includes a $250 Seniors Trophy Event with a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool, plus a $300 Series Opener and a $300 Tag Team event.
The following day brings the start of one of the bigger side events, the $400 Deepstack. That tournament has a $50,000 guarantee, three starting flights, and will be completed on Aug. 6.
Other events on the schedule include a $200 Ladies Missouri State Championship, a $500 PLO Trophy Event, a $400 Black Chip Bounty event, and a $250 Closer that wraps up the series on Aug. 9.
The return to St. Louis comes a few months after RGPS Passport Season stopped at Hollywood Casino St. Louis from March 3-8. That festival featured 10 ring events, and the $800 Main Event drew 647 players.
Gabriel Attoun won that March Main Event for $83,141 after defeating Bradley Young heads-up. Del Beiler finished third for $40,813, Jeremy Lass took fourth for $30,398, and Matthew Koch placed fifth for $22,905.
The St. Louis stop also fits into RGPS Passport Season’s wider 2026 schedule, which continues across the United States through regional poker rooms. Before the trip to Missouri, the team remains in California for the RGPS San Diego Poker Classic at Jamul Casino, running from July 30 to Aug. 9.
