KROXCE and CYRAXJR Lead ACR Poker’s Run Up Leaderboard Race
The $100,000 contest pays 50 players as the five-week series runs 163 events through Aug. 17.
KROXCE has grabbed the early lead in the High division of Americas Cardroom’s $100,000 Run Up Series leaderboard race, while CYRAXJR is out front in the Low division.
In the High standings, BUENAHISTORIA is currently second and ALGSXR is third. In the Low division, BIZZNESS sits in second and UNDAUNT3D is third.
The contest runs alongside the Run Up Series, a five-week online poker schedule of 163 tournaments that started July 12 and runs through August 17. The series offers more than $10 million in guaranteed prize pools, and players earn leaderboard points from their results in Run Up events.
The leaderboard is split by buy-in level. Events above $33 count toward the High standings, while tournaments priced at $33 or less feed the Low leaderboard.
Americas Cardroom is funding the full $100,000 prize pool. The contest will pay 25 players in each division, for 50 total winners, with rewards made up of cash, tournament tickets and seats in the $15 million Guaranteed Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms.
The top prizes are different in each division. The High winner gets $10,000 plus a $2,650 No-Limit Hold’em Venom ticket and a $2,650 Pot-Limit Omaha Venom ticket, while the Low champion receives $5,000 and tickets to both Venom tournaments.
The rest of the top three also get paid. Second place in the High division earns $7,500 and an NLH Venom entry, and third gets $5,000 and an NLH Venom ticket. In the Low division, second pays $3,000 plus an NLH Venom ticket, and third pays $2,000 plus an NLH Venom seat.
The wider schedule also includes a $1 million guaranteed Mystery Bounty Multi-Flight event with a $66 buy-in and a $100,000 top bounty. The series wraps with three Main Events, and Day 1 starts on August 16.
