Americas Cardroom’s Run Up Mystery Bounty Reaches 1,220 Entries
The $66 event still has more than 200 Day 1 flights left as the five-week series moves toward an Aug. 17 finish.
Americas Cardroom’s $1 million guaranteed Mystery Bounty Multi-Flight tournament had reached 1,220 entries, and more than 200 Day 1 flights were still on the schedule.
According to Americas Cardroom, the event has a $66 buy-in. Players who advance from a Day 1 flight move on to Day 2 on Aug. 17, where the Mystery Bounty portion begins and player eliminations reveal prizes that include a $100,000 top bounty.
The tournament is the multi-flight headliner of the Run Up Series, a five-week online poker series with more than $10 million in guarantees across 163 tournaments. The series runs through Aug. 17.
The Run Up Series closes with three Main Events. The schedule includes a $1,050 buy-in event with a $750,000 guarantee, a $215 buy-in event with a $400,000 guarantee, and a $33 buy-in event with a $200,000 guarantee, with Day 1 on Aug. 16 and Day 2 on Aug. 17.
Americas Cardroom also said it is funding a $100,000 leaderboard competition, which it called its largest leaderboard promotion to date. The prizes include cash, tournament tickets, and entries to the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms, with the High division winner getting $10,000 plus Venom tickets and the Low division winner getting $5,000 plus Venom tickets.
Those Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms carry a record $15 million in combined guarantees, and players can qualify through Venom Fever, which guarantees 1,500 seats with paths starting at $0.
A separate $2.5 million guaranteed 25th Anniversary Tournament is also underway. It has a $250 buy-in, 21 Day 1 flights, and a cumulative stack format.
