WSOP Circuit Main Event Day 1B Gets Underway in Las Vegas
The $1,700 No-Limit Hold’em ring event carried a $1.5 million Day 1 guarantee and a 40,000-chip starting stack.
Day 1B of the WSOP Circuit Main Event in Las Vegas got underway.
The $1,700 No-Limit Hold’em event was listed as an Official WSOP Circuit Ring Event, and the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Las Vegas page identified it as Event #11.
The structure sheet said Day 1B was scheduled for Friday, April 19, at 11:00am. It also set the Main Event’s Day 1 guarantee at $1.5 million.
Players started with 40,000 chips. Blinds increased every 40 minutes on Day 1, and each starting flight ran 17 levels or down to 5%, whichever came first. Payout began at 15%.
The event was 9-handed, and the final table began when 10 players remained. Late registration, including re-entry, stayed open until the beginning of Level 13 on each Day 1 flight, and the tournament allowed unlimited re-entries until the late-reg window closed.
If a player bagged multiple Day 1 stacks, the largest one carried forward and the other qualifying stacks were forfeited, with a minimum payout attached. Onsite registration was available 24 hours a day, and refunds had to be completed at least two hours before the scheduled start of the event in question.
The structure sheet also capped Day 1A, Day 1B, and Day 1C at 315, 405, and 603 players plus alternates, respectively. Players had to be 18 or older and free Playground members, and Official WSOP Circuit ring winners will qualify for the WSOP Tournament of Champions.
