SHRPO Event 2 Flight C Closes at 455
The $400 Deep Stack moved to 1,249 combined entries and cleared $400,000 toward the guarantee.
Flight C of SHRPO Event 2’s $400 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em closed registration at 455 entries. That lifted the combined field to 1,249 and pushed the prize pool to more than $400,000 against the event’s $1 million guarantee.
The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open site said the flight had been at 440 entries before the cutoff at 2:30 pm. Earlier in the day, it was at 190 entries, and the organizer said the early pace had all but locked up the guarantee.
The site had already pointed to 794 entries on Wednesday as the pace for crushing the $1 million mark. It also said the third flight started with 72 players, expected more as people made their way to the Grand Ballroom, and noted that five huge flights were still to come.
Flight C will continue until 57 players remain. Players must bag chips to cash in SHRPO Event 2.
Those 57 survivors will move on to Day 2 on Sunday at 1 pm.
