ACR Poker Launches 14-Part WSOP Interview Series With Alex Foxen
The opening installment revisits Foxen’s bracelet run, a key all-in and the summer lessons he says still matter.
ACR Poker has launched a 14-part weekly editorial interview series built around first-person WSOP stories from the 2026 summer. The format turns natural interviews or voice-note conversations into full features, with the goal of getting beyond a standard results recap and into the hands, decisions, frustrations and lessons that shape a run.
According to ACR Poker, Alex Foxen opens the series after what the company called one of the strongest summers of his career. He won his fourth career bracelet in the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em event for $594,246, and his listed series total finished at 14 cashes and $2,067,005.
Foxen’s interview revisits the hand he called the most important moment of the summer, a three-way all-in with sixes against ace-nine and king-jack. He said that spot moved him from around an average stack to the chip lead with about 16 players left, and he treated that endgame experience as a major edge from there.
The piece also looks at the misses that stayed with him. Foxen discussed his seventh-place finish in the $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha event, which he described as the big near-miss of the summer, and his final-table run in the $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em event. He said the $25K PLO came immediately after his Super Turbo win, after a finish that sent him to bed around 1 or 2 in the morning before he came back, fired a first bullet and ran the event up.

He also said that mixed games are more fun than he thought and that being aware of fatigue is difficult and important.
