Lucas Teixeira Rodrigues Wins WSOP Online Gladiators of Poker
The Brazilian turned a $300 buy-in into $579,752 and a $30,000 Super Pass after topping a 17,077-entry field.
Lucas Teixeira Rodrigues won GGPoker’s WSOP Online 2026 event #2, the $300 Gladiators of Poker. He turned a $300 buy-in into $579,752 and added a $30,000 Super Pass for WSOP Paradise.
PokerNews reported that the event was the second of 33 bracelet-awarding events in the series. It drew 17,077 entries and a $4,764,483 prize pool, with 1,307 players left after Day 1 and only nine still alive when the final table began. As reported on Aug. 17, Brazilian player Raphael Caixeta had already opened WSOP Online 2026 with the first bracelet.
Teixeira played under the alias Fino y Elegante and reached the final table with 140 big blinds, nearly double Vladislav Saprykin’s 77 and well ahead of Rafael Santanna Barcia’s 52. Poland’s Michal Nocon was the short stack and the first player out, taking $72,417 for ninth.
The rest of the pay jump followed the same pattern. Rishi Mehra of Singapore finished eighth for $93,906 and Luciano Hollanda of Brazil placed seventh for $121,774. Kevin John took sixth for $157,914, Jian Zhao finished fifth for $204,781, Saprykin exited fourth for $265,561, and Barcia bowed out in third for $344,383.
That left Teixeira heads-up with Sri Lanka’s Sunaina Bhartia, who earned $446,602. Spadepoker said Brazil had three representatives at the final table and described the turning point as a hand where Bhartia shoved Q-2, Teixeira called with A-J, and a board of 8-5-8-3-4 locked up the title. The same report said the Super Pass includes a seat in the Super Main Event and accommodations at Baha Mar, and it framed the result as Brazil’s second victory within two days.
