Crown Melbourne Sets April 2027 Aussie Millions Dates
The championship returns to the same April window as 2026, with the full schedule and event structures still to come.
Crown Melbourne has locked in 8 to 24 April 2027 for the next Aussie Millions Poker Championship, giving the festival a 17-day run and leaving the full schedule and event structures to be announced later. The move keeps the series in the April window it used in 2026, after the event shifted away from its traditional January slot.
The new dates come about two weeks earlier than the 2026 series, which started in late April and ran through 10 May. That edition ended with Malcolm Trayner winning the Main Event after outlasting a 770-player field.
The 2026 Main Event carried a headline top prize of $1,667,050, according to Pokermedia and ASGAM. SoMuchPoker described the event as an AUD 10,600 Main Event and reported Trayner’s winner’s prize as AUD 1,382,198, with Dean Blatt taking AUD 1,000,072 for second and Dejan Boskovic earning AUD 921,030 for third.
Crown Melbourne’s next poker stop in Melbourne is the Victorian Poker Championship, which will run from 12 to 27 October. The series has been expanded to 21 events.
The VPC schedule will include a $2,500 Main Event with four Day 1 flights, plus two High Roller tournaments priced at $5,000 and $10,000. It will also feature a Mystery Bounty, H.O.R.S.E, 8-Game and 2-7 Triple Draw.
There will also be two dedicated Pot Limit Omaha events, including a $5,000 event and a special marquee event. Joe Hachem and Van Marcus will return as ambassadors, and the Australian Poker Tour will serve as the official satellite partner for the series.
