CoinPoker Cuts CoinMillion Buy-In by $50 for First 500 Players
Eligible 3-Bet Club members can enter the Sept. 13 event for $165, while the $1 million guarantee stays intact.
CoinPoker has opened a $50 flash discount for the Sept. 13 CoinMillion, cutting the direct buy-in for eligible 3-Bet Club members to $165 from $215. The first 500 discounted entries are capped, and the prize pool stays at $1 million guaranteed.
According to PokerStrategy, the offer went live at 12:00 UTC on Sept. 11 and runs until 06:00 UTC on Sept. 12 unless the full allotment is claimed earlier. The discount applies only to the initial direct registration, not to rebuys, and once the cap is hit the price goes back to $215.
As we reported on Sept. 10, CoinPoker already had four CoinMillion Sundays lined up for September inside the Global Online Poker Championship. The Sept. 13 event is the second of those four, and it follows the monthly flagship format.
The price cut is aimed at 3-Bet Club members, the optional CoinPoker rewards subscription. Discounted entries still compete for the full share of the prize pool, so the lower buy-in does not change what the event pays out.
CoinPoker also said GOPC payouts had already run more than $6 million ahead of scheduled guarantees after two weeks, putting the festival on course to challenge its overall $50 million guarantee.
