FINALVERDICT7 Wins Record 5,321-Entry CoinMillion on CoinPoker

The $215 Sept. 13 event generated a $1.06 million prize pool and paid its champion $123,979.

FINALVERDICT7 has won CoinPoker’s largest CoinMillion to date, beating a 5,321-entry field in the $215 tournament on Sept. 13 for $123,979. The victory also earned the player a physical trophy and a place in the CoinMillion Hall of Champions.

The field was the biggest across CoinMillion’s five events, and the champion’s payout was the second-largest first prize in the tournament’s history, according to Card Player. FINALVERDICT7 began Day 2 in 10th place and had accumulated less than $1,000 in tournament earnings on the platform before the win.

The event drew 3,969 unique players, all paying the $215 buy-in. Its turnout cleared the $1 million guarantee, producing a $1.06 million prize pool before re-entries. It overtook the 4,986-entry Sept. 6 CoinMillion, which we covered earlier this month as the previous platform record.

Doritos23 finished runner-up for $78,218 after entering the event three times. In the final hand, FINALVERDICT7 raised to two big blinds with pocket kings and Doritos23 defended a stack of fewer than 10 big blinds with pocket eights. Doritos23 moved all-in on a queen-high flop after a bet of less than half the pot, picked up a gutshot straight draw on the turn, but missed on the river.

ComoAAgua placed third after recording about $121,000 in winnings across 107 previous cashes. Most of the top 10 used a single entry, while CoinPoker ambassador Girafganger7 made a 31st-place finish.

CoinMillion uses 100,000-chip starting stacks and 10-minute blind levels. CoinPoker has scheduled the final September GOPC editions for Sept. 20 and Sept. 27, ahead of the series’ Sept. 28 conclusion.
