Trailblazer Poker Tour Returns to Dallas With $1 Million Guaranteed Main Event
Texas Card House’s Oct. 8-19 stop spans Dallas and Las Colinas, with 11 Main Event starting flights.
Texas Card House will stage Trailblazer Poker Tour Season III’s second stop across its Dallas and Las Colinas clubs from Oct. 8-19, led by an $800 Main Event with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.
PokerNews reported that the festival opens Oct. 8 with a $400 Kick Off event carrying a $100,000 guarantee. It is followed by the $300 Dallas Signature, which has a $250,000 guarantee and six starting flights.
The Main Event begins Oct. 12 and offers 11 starting flights. Its winner will be decided on Day 3, Oct. 19. Most of the schedule, including the Main Event, will run at Texas Card House Dallas, while Las Colinas will host selected side events.
Those Las Colinas events include the $300 Lone Star PLO, $400 Big O and $300 Triple Triple Draw. The final day also includes the $250 Randy’s 6 Shooter and $200 Donkey Derby events.
As we covered in August, Season III opened with an Aug. 28-Sept. 8 Dallas and Las Colinas series that listed more than $1.2 million in guarantees. The five-stop Texas season awards points at every event toward its Trailblazer of the Year race, with $125,000 in season-long cash prizes for the top points earners.
Texas Card House CEO Ryan Crow said Trailblazer began as a bet that Texas players deserved their own tour, and called Season III its biggest yet. After the Dallas and Las Colinas dates, the tour is scheduled to move to Spring from Oct. 27 through Nov. 9, followed by Houston and Austin stops that conclude the season in February.
