Roussos Koliakoudakis Wins First PGT Title for $198,000
Greek PLO specialist swept the final four in Event No. 3 to move second in the series points race.
Roussos Koliakoudakis captured Event No. 3 of the 2026 PGT PLO Series on Sept. 28, winning $198,000 and his first PokerGO Tour title. The Greek pot-limit Omaha specialist topped a 66-entry field at the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, where the 10 paid places shared a $660,000 prize pool.
The buy-in was listed as $10,500 by SpadePoker and Poker.pro, while Card Player described the tournament as a $10,000 event. The result was Koliakoudakis’ largest recorded tournament payday, surpassing the $139,773 he won in a $3,000 PLO bounty event at the 2023 Wynn Summer Classic, and lifted his career cashes to nearly $1.1 million.
Koliakoudakis took more than half the chips into the final day, which resumed with four players, and eliminated each of his remaining opponents. Sean Rafael finished fourth for $66,000, before Koliakoudakis knocked out Chino Rheem in third for $89,100. Brevin Andreadis earned $128,700 as runner-up after the heads-up match lasted one hand; Koliakoudakis began it with nearly a 4:1 chip lead and his pocket kings stayed ahead on the river.
The victory earned Koliakoudakis 198 PGT points, moving him to second on the series leaderboard behind Robert Chorlian’s 203. Separately, he collected 360 Card Player Player of the Year points, his second qualifying final-table result of 2026, for a total of 910 points and a place among the top 900 in that overall race.
The eight-event PGT PLO Series runs through Oct. 2, with buy-ins from $5,300 to $26,000. The series title goes to the player with the most PGT points across the schedule, provided they cash at least twice, and carries a $10,000 PGT Passport.
