The Super High Roller win at PokerStars’ Monte Carlo EPT stop secured Adrian Mateos Diaz a pay-day of over €1.3 million euros!
It comes off the back of his Super High Roller win at the World Series of Poker last year, that netted the Winamax ambassador $3.2 million.
Boris Becker is known to millions as one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
Those in the poker world may also know of him via his multitude of impressive ambassadorships with big online poker rooms. For many years, he represented PokerStars, then switched allegiance in 2016 to partypoker. In 2020, he signed on with GGPoker.
However, the German, who declared bankruptcy in 2017, was brought to trial in the UK last week for hiding funds and assets.
Becker was found guilty on four charges under the Insolvency Act and will be going to jail for 2 years for hiding £2.5m worth of assets and loans to avoid paying debts.
