PokerStars Explores Parallels Between Poker & F1 in a New YouTube Series

The four-part series is a product of cooperation between PokerStars and the Oracle Red Bull Racing team.

PokerStars has launched a new mini-series on YouTube in partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing. Called Between the Lines, the series explores the similarities that exist between poker and motorsport at the highest level.

The new show features a very interesting and innovative concept, combining tense moments from EPT tournaments and key events from the 2022 Oracle Red Bull Racing season. It aims to discover and highlight strategies and qualities that help create winners on the green felt and on the racetrack.

The first episode features Hossein Ensan, a recreational poker player by definition, who made his claim to fame by taking down the 2023 WSOP Main Event and banking $10,000,000. However, Ensan proved his poker skills a few years earlier when he triumphed in the extremely competitive Main Event of the EPT Prague.

Featured on the other side is the Oracle Red Bull Racing team that faces a challenge due to unforeseen rain during the Monaco Grand Prix, putting them in a difficult spot and forcing them to make a tough call early during the race.

Between the Lines is a very interesting and adrenaline-filled show that brings together two seemingly completely different worlds and shows that, at the highest level of any competition, those who emerge victorious tend to possess very similar qualities, one of them being the willingness to take the risk and venture into the unknown!

Lex Veldhuis Going Once Again for a SCOOP Title at PokerStars

Lex Veldhuis has had an amazing SCOOP so far, but the PokerStars ambassador is still looking to close the deal.

It’s been a good SCOOP so far for Lex Veldhuis, as the PokerStars ambassador had a few very deep runs already, including two third places and two runner-up finishes. It would be completely fair to say Lex has been crushing it this year, but he’s still to win a title.

He’ll have another shot at it in a few hours’ time, though, having made the final table of the $5k Titans PKO event.

No matter what happens, this is another feather in the cap of the popular streamer, who’ll be taking home at least $11,363 for his efforts. If he does end up winning, Lex will bank $71k and, perhaps more importantly, his first SCOOP title of 2023.

All of the final table action will be streamed live on the PokerStars official Twitch channel, and Veldhuis will have to face some formidable competition to go all the way, including Patrick Leonard and Pedro Padilha.

If you’re in the mood to watch some top-quality poker and root for Lex as he tries once again to close the deal in this year’s SCOOP, make sure to tune in!
