Triton’s $30 Million Club Grows to Seven Players
Triton’s list of players above the career-earnings mark grew after Montenegro and Jeju II.
Triton Poker’s group of players with more than $30 million in career tour earnings has grown from four to seven following the Montenegro and Jeju II stops. Dvoress rose to fourth place on the all-time list.
Card Player’s Sept. 18 leaderboard update put Bryn Kenney first with $51.3 million in Triton earnings, followed by Jason Koon on $40.9 million and Stephen Chidwick on $35.2 million. Dvoress now has more than $34.8 million, ahead of Mikita Badziakouski’s $32.4 million, Tang’s nearly $32.3 million and Punsri’s total just above $30 million.
The two intervening festivals offered a huge amount of money to play for. Montenegro ran from May 13-28 and awarded more than $100 million across 16 events, while Jeju II, held Sept. 4-17, paid more than $103.2 million in prize money.
Dvoress began the year with two Triton titles and has won five in 2026, bringing him to seven overall and into a three-way tie for the tour’s second-most victories. Three of those wins came in Montenegro, where Triton said he became the first player to win three titles at a single stop.
His Montenegro run included the $25,000 Golden Decade opener for $849,000, the $100,000 PLO Main Event for $2,018,000 and the closing $25,000 PLO Turbo Bounty Quattro for $367,500. He then added a seventh career title in Jeju, winning the $30,000 eight-handed no-limit hold’em event for $942,000 from 135 entries, as we covered earlier this month.
Dvoress made five cashes worth more than $1.6 million at Jeju II. His latest title was enough to move him past Badziakouski on the leaderboard.
Tang cashed 10 times across Montenegro and Jeju II, adding nearly $5.8 million to his Triton record. The largest piece was his $3.5 million victory in the 159-entry $100,000 no-limit hold’em main event in Montenegro, which secured his sixth Triton title after a 934-day wait for another win.
Punsri also made 10 cashes at the two stops and picked up more than $2.3 million. He is a six-time Triton champion, and the tour now accounts for more than three-quarters of his $39.6 million in total live tournament earnings.
Aleksejs Ponakovs is closest to joining the group next. His Triton earnings stand at about $29.9 million, leaving him roughly $135,000 short of the milestone.
