Phil Galfond’s Beyond the Game Returns for Season 3
The poker coaching program adds a six-month option, keeps its selective review process and preserves a seven-coach roster.
Phil Galfond’s Beyond The Game poker training program is back for Season 3, and this time applicants can choose between a six-month membership and a 12-month option. Pokerfuse reported that the program is still selective, with applications hand-reviewed by the team before a final decision that can mean acceptance, rejection, or more questions.
The new structure is a change from the first two seasons, when BTG only offered a full-year commitment that cost around $8,000. For Season 3, the six-month membership is priced at $4,500, and payment plans are available for yearly memberships.
The program still runs with a seven-coach team that includes Galfond, Kevin Rabichow, Jason Paster, Chris “DeathDonkey” Vitch, Samm Hunter, Fabian “suhepx” Riebau-Schmithal, and a coach who goes only by Paul. Pokerfuse said Vitch is the mixed-game specialist on the roster, while Paul preferred not to share his surname publicly and works privately with several high-stakes pros.
BTG also comes with a fairly packed schedule. According to Pokerfuse, it includes weekly calls with coaches, 40 of them led by Galfond himself, plus 100 co-working sessions and 16 live Q&As.
On Galfond’s coaching site, BTG is described as his group coaching program for serious poker players. The page says the work is built around strategy, decision-making, consistency, mindset, and the career and life built around the game, not just poker theory on its own.
That same page says applications are open. The site’s pitch is direct about the target player, telling visitors to apply no matter who they are or what they do.
