The Brazilian topped a 143-entry bounty field for $14,256 as PokerStars counts down to the August 16 main events.

Brazil’s Dalton “daltonhb” Hobold won the latest PokerStars WCOOP Boot Camp $530 NLHE Bounty Builder High Roller, topping a 143-player field for $14,256. He beat “Deal with It” heads-up, and the final table also included Claas “SsicK_OnE” Segebrecht, Daniel “DaniC19941893” Custodio and Austria’s “tekelson221”.

The result gives Hobold a timely boost heading into WCOOP. He now has four SCOOP titles and one WCOOP title, and four of those wins came in Progressive Knockout events.

PokerStars’ WCOOP Boot Camp is running from August 2 through 17 and features 65 events with more than $6.5 million in combined guarantees. The warm-up series covers No-Limit Hold’em and mixed games, and the full WCOOP follows from September 6 to 30 for the 25th straight year.

The Boot Camp has also been pushing players toward the final stretch with Main Events on August 16. The $109 version carries a $500,000 guarantee and the $1,050 edition is set at $300,000, with both Main Events scheduled to run across two days and Day 2 set for August 17 at 7:05 p.m. CEST.
