888poker’s WSOP Mini-Series Reaches Episode 4
Day 2 sends Barone and Navarro through to Day 3 while Eastwood and Saliba hit the rail
888poker’s 2026 WSOP Main Event mini-series has now reached Episode 4, and four of the five episodes are available on YouTube. The latest chapter returns to Day 2 in Las Vegas and keeps the spotlight on the five Team888 ambassadors rather than on strategy talk.
As reported earlier in August, the series had already followed the group through Day 1 and a day off before this latest installment went back to tournament play. According to 888poker’s Day 2 write-up, the action resumed at the Horseshoe and Paris casinos with Nick Eastwood, Vivian Saliba, Aaron Barone and Lucia Navarro back at the tables. Ian Simpson had already busted in the earlier chapters, so the episode is down to the four remaining players.
Barone looked best placed to keep the run going. He started Day 2 with 76,000 chips, climbed to 108,000 early, and later turned a strong-looking river bluff into 97,300 chips before finishing the night with 237,000 and a comfortable Day 3 bag. He also called Day 2 relatively “chill” compared with Day 1.
The episode also leans into the table talk around survival. Barone told Eastwood that even around 40 big blinds still leaves room to call 3-bets, double-barrel and bluff post-flop. Eastwood later crashed out in a hand that saw pocket aces lose to pocket sevens on a 9-8-6 board. Saliba also fell, with ace-queen running into ace-king that made trips on the flop and filled up by the river.
Navarro was the other player to advance, ending Day 2 with 94,000 after starting the day on 128,500. She said she expected to get at least to the money, and PokerNews says the fifth and final episode will be released on 4 September.
